Islamabad Police have advised citizens traveling to Murree to check for road updates before setting out.
According to the police spokesperson, a strict crackdown is underway in the federal capital against reckless driving and one-wheeling. Dozens of motorcycles involved in such activities have been impounded at various police stations.
The police further stated that special security arrangements have been made for public parks, with more than 1,500 personnel deployed across the city. Quick Response Teams are on standby, while senior officials, including the DIG, Chief Traffic Officer, and SSP Operations, are actively monitoring the situation on the ground.
To ensure a safe environment, entry to public parks is restricted to families only. Special police units have been stationed at all entry and exit points of these parks to enforce this policy.
The spokesperson added that these security measures will remain in place throughout the three days of Eid, emphasizing that no effort will be spared in maintaining law and order across the city.
