Car dealerships, including Haval Pakistan and Changan Pakistan, have come to the rescue Twin Cities’ residents after a brutal Islamabad hailstorm on April 16 pounded the city, damaging numerous cars along the way.

In an unexpected turn of events yesterday, various parts of Islamabad faced an intense hailstorm that damaged windowpanes of many houses, uprooted trees and destroyed many cars that were parked out in the open.
Numerous social media footages showed the level of destruction, particularly, with cars that the intense Islamabad hailstorm left in its wake.
Citizens shared their opinions no social media, with multiple people asserting that they had never witnessed such an intense weather phenomenon in the city.
Automobile companies offer discounts on repairs
After multiple cars were damaged with broken windscreens, rear screens, and major dents, Haval Pakistan, announced a 40 per cent discount on repairs in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
According to details, Haval Pakistan has limited the discount on damaged windscreen, rear screen, and panoramic sunroof. The company also set the due date for the discount till 19 April, 2025.
Haval owners were beyond happy and excited following the company’s discount option, with many users calling on other mainstream automobile companies to offer them discounts on repairs.
Haval Pakistan took to its social media pages to post, “To the Haval family, in this difficult time, we are standing with you.”
Furthermore, Changan Pakistan took one step further in helping their customers by offering 50% discount on hailstorm-related damages. On April 17 (today), Changan Pakistan took to its social media pages to write, “We’re not just here for the drive; we’re here when it matters. 50% off on repairs* for all Deepal and Changan owners affected by the recent hailstorm in Rawalpindi & Islamabad.”
Changan and Haval owners can visit their nearest authorised dealerships across Islamabad and Rawalpindi as the offer expires in just three days.
Changan Pakistan’s offer will remain valid until April 20, 2025. Both these companies have taken a progressive step in helping their customers to get back on the roads with a reduced financial burden.
It merits a mention that both of these disocunts are applicable on only labour costs and not spare parts.
