The Iraq military base military base, Balad, has come under attack, according to Al Jazeera.

Iraqi news outlets also reported strikes on Victory Base near Baghdad International Airport.

It remains unclear who was behind the assaults.

Meanwhile, Lieutenant General Walid Al-Tamimi, Commander of Baghdad Operations, confirmed that an unidentified drone targeted an outpost at Taji military base in northern Baghdad. He added that no casualties were reported in the incident.

Al Sumaria TV network reported an attack on the radar systems at Imam Ali base in Iraq.

The Baghdad-based television channel did not say who carried out the attack.

Imam Ali base is located in Iraq’s Dhi Qar governorate, just southwest of the provincial capital of Nasiriya.

US bases in Iraq

US maintains a presence at Ain Al Asad Air Base in western Anbar province, supporting Iraqi security forces and contributing to the NATO mission, according to the White House. Situated in the semi-autonomous Kurdistan Region of northern Iraq, Erbil Air Base serves as a hub for US and coalition forces conducting training exercises and battle drills. The base supports US military efforts by providing a secure location for training, intelligence sharing, and logistical coordination in northern Iraq, according to the congressional report.
