India’s anti-Pakistan policy will hurt the people of South Asia: Bilawal Bhutto

ISLAMABAD: Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that India’s anti-Pakistan ideology is dangerous not only for Pakistan but also for the Indian people themselves.

In an interview with Al Jazeera, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that India is trying to normalize its anti-Pakistan ideology for the world, although Pakistan’s past reflects the history of not just one country but the entire region.

When the correspondent asked Bilawal about allegations Pakistan faces, Bilawal replied, “It is not Pakistan’s past but the collective past.”

The PPP chairman rightly pointed out that the presence of religious militant organisations inside Pakistan was due to the Western world’s policy to start a war against terror and destabilization of multiple countries.

He added that Pakistan has successfully passed all the stages of FATF and FATF has appreciated Pakistan’s efforts against terrorism.

He clarified that Pakistan is not involved in the terrorist attacks in India, while Pakistan itself is a victim of terrorism every day. He also said that India has failed to provide solid evidence regarding the Pahalgam attacks.

On the other hand, Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi, in which the political situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was discussed.

Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman and former foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari while talking to the media recently, warned that India has continuously threatened Pakistan.

“Kashmir has become an internationally recognised issue after our diplomatic success and the 5-day war between India and Pakistan,” stated the PPP chairman.

Bilawal remarked, “The main component of this ceasefire [between India and Pakistan] was that there were going to be talks between us at a neutral venue. All friction points were to be discussed.”
