Once again, Indian media has demonstrated its irresponsible and false journalism by launching a new wave of propaganda targeting Pakistan.
Several Indian social media accounts and news channels falsely claimed that Pakistani and Indian fighter jets were flying over the Line of Control (LoC), and that Pakistani forces had carried out unprovoked firing across the border.
However, Indian news agency ANI itself dismissed these claims as fake news, effectively exposing Indian media’s disinformation.
Indian defence sources also confirmed that there had been no unusual aerial activity and no violation of the ceasefire agreement.
Other Indian state institutions also clarified that the news being circulated by the media was nothing more than baseless rumours with no connection to ground reality.
This is not the first instance, during “Operation Sindoor” as well, Indian media’s false reporting not only damaged India’s global reputation but also sparked public outrage within the country.
Indian media has now become nothing more than a propaganda tool, spreading misinformation at the behest of state-backed war-mongering elements in order to escalate regional tensions.
The situation has reached a point where even Indian institutions and the public widely view their media as a source of fake news.
According to Pakistani security sources, Indian media no longer reports facts but merely reads out the script written by its political masters.
The situation along the LoC remains calm and under control, and the sole purpose of Indian media’s false reporting is to create instability and unrest along the border.
