Amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan, the Indian RAW-backed social media accounts have been busy creating disinformation and fake news about Pakistan after failing to convince the international community about its narrative of the Pahalgam attack.

On April 22, militants attacked Indian tourists in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) Pahalgam area, causing 26 deaths.

Indian media and Modi-led government instantly blamed Pakistan without conducting any kind of investigation and failing to apprehend a single militant involved.

RAW-backed Indian media and social media accounts called for direct attacks on Pakistan and started a mass disinformation campaign against Pakistan.

Azaad Digital has been effectively countering the fake news and propaganda by RAW-backed Indian media and social media.

Recently, these Indian propaganda social media accounts started a new fake news about an alleged sexual assault of former Prime Minister Imran Khan in Adiala Jail.

The accounts shared a fake screenshot of Dawn News article with a title, “Leaked Medical Report Confirms Sexual Assault on Imran Khan in Custody by an Army Major”

It merits a mention that Imran Khan is currently incarcerated in Adiala Jail under the supervision of Adiala Jail authorities. The founder PTI has not been attacked or sexually assaulted by anyone in any way.

No Pakistani news channels or newspapers have published this news since it did not take place. Analysts have suggested that RAW-backed Indian social media accounts, after failing to convince the international community, have started fake news propaganda against Pakistan in an attempt to sow internal discord in Pakistan.

The RAW-backed Indian social media accounts are also sharing a fake written agreement signed between PTI, the Pakistani government, and US ambassador Donald Blome.

This entire agreement is fake, and no such agreement can occur legally, morally, or ethically.
