Web Desk. The Indian Army has announced the holding of “Exercise Drone Prahar”, which reflects India’s new focus on drone warfare.
The decision comes after the Indian Air Force’s humiliating failures in Operation Sindoor, where Indian fighter jets were shot down like flies in the face of the superior Pakistani Air Force.
Defence analysts have stated that the Indian armed forces are now prioritizing the use of unmanned air power, so that offensive operations can be carried out without human casualties.
The Indian Army is now including drones in tactical battle exercises to compensate for its previous failures in conventional air warfare.
Some experts have pointed to the interesting timing behind India’s focus on drone utility, with many arguing that it proves how Pakistan’s drone systems neutralized Indian Air Defence systems in May.

Some have suggested that Pakistan used its high-technology drones against enemy air defence systems in such a way that later its Fatah-I missiles remained undetected deep inside India.
According to analysts, this strategy also indicates that drone warfare will play a key role in any future potential conflict between Pakistan and India, where the invasion of unmanned systems can replace traditional air strikes.
However, this technological breakthrough by India does not appear to be the result of any innovation but rather a desperation that is an attempt to avoid another “Sindoor-style” failure.
