In yet another attempt at coping with military losses against Pakistan, an Indian news magazine is now claiming that China taught Pakistan ‘NATO style’ aerial tactics, which led to Indian fighter jet losses on the fateful night of May 7.

It must be highlighted that since India launched unprovoked attacks against Pakistan on the night of May 6-7, Indian government and media have made multiple narratives regarding its losses.

Pakistan shot down at least 6 Indian aircraft, including 4 Rafales, in defence of its sovereignty; however, Indian media completely dismissed the claim initially.

When the receipts started coming from all around the globe about growing evidence that India lost multiple fighter jets, the Indian media then started spinning new narratives.

Till now, some of the Indian claims include that India actually shot down Pakistani fighter jets, then many news outlets quoting “sources” claimed that PAF had shot down only “decoys” of Rafale.

Then, the Indian military commander blamed “one front and two or three adversaries” for the fighter jet losses, hinting at China and Turkish support for Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Indian military officials started hinting at their fighter jet losses without completely acknowledging the total number of jet losses.

Then some Indian officials claimed that China was giving real-time sensitive military data to Pakistan through its extensive satellite systems.

After every one of the claims was discredited by experts and officials, now The Print is claiming that “Pakistan may have used NATO style aerial tactics learnt from the Chinese, who in turn were taught by former Western air force pilots and operators that Beijing had clandestinely hired over the last several years.”

The article published on Thursday claims that Pakistan used a “launch-and-leave” aerial tactic to destroy Indian fighter jets.

“According to sources in the know, one of the many tactics used by the NATO countries when it comes to air force, especially in air-to-air scenarios, is where one aircraft launches a missile, while another provides guidance,” it writes.

“Chinese have taught Pakistan this NATO style tactic,” claimed the news outlet without providing an explanation that how did these ‘sources’ suddenly know about a unique aerial fight tactic when they did not even accept its losses.

“Asked how the Chinese have been able to copy NATO style tactics, sources explained that China has been clandestinely hiring foreign pilots and operators, especially from the Five Eyes countries—Australia, Canada, New Zealand, UK and the US,” the article stated.
