WEBDESK: Fast bowler Ihsanullah has officially joined Peshawar Zalmi for the 10th season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL X). This marks a major step in his comeback journey after a long injury break that kept him off the field.

Ihsanullah made headlines during PSL 8 when he played for Multan Sultans, taking an impressive 22 wickets and becoming one of the top performers of the tournament. However, his rising career was briefly put on hold due to an elbow injury sustained during Pakistan’s home ODI series against New Zealand in April 2023.

The injury forced Ihsanullah to miss PSL 9, and although he made a short return in the Champions T20 Cup, he couldn’t deliver his best, taking only two wickets in four matches. As a result, he went unsold in the initial PSL 10 draft and even announced his retirement from the league. Surprisingly, he reversed his decision just a day later.

Now, Peshawar Zalmi has brought Ihsanullah on board in the Supplementary category, showing faith in his potential to bounce back. The team shared the news through their social media channels with an animated poster of Ihsanullah wearing the Zalmi jersey, sparking excitement among fans.

Zalmi, the 2017 PSL champions, are counting on Ihsanullah’s pace and energy to boost their bowling attack. The team will kick off their PSL 10 campaign against Quetta Gladiators on April 12 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
