Bollywood up and coming actor, Ibrahim Ali Khan, the son of renowned actor Saif Ali Khan recently admitted to threatening a local Pakistani critic over his harsh remarks on Ibrahim’s new movie, Nadaniyaan.
Nadaaniyan is a 2025 Indian Hindi-language teen romantic comedy film directed by Shauna Gautam and produced by Karan Johar released on March 7. The plot of the movie revolves around a wealthy socialite enlists the help of a middle-class boy by asking him to pretend to be her boyfriend. However, things take a dramatic turn when romance blossoms between them.
The movie has gotten a terrible response with Rotten Tomatoes giving it a 13% rating and IMDb giving it a measly 2.9/10 rating.
Critics lashed out at the movie, particularly at the “bad acting” by Ibrahim and others. Pakistani local critic Taimoor Iqbal was among those who slammed Khan’s acting skills in debut movie.
Iqbal, in his emotions, also poked fun at the actor’s ‘huge nose.’ The story became much more interesting when Iqbal who had less than 2,000 followers on his Instagram page at the time got a threatening reply from Ibrahim.
“Tamur almost like Taimur .. you got my brothers name. Guess what you don’t got? His face,” Ibrahim Ali Khan replied.
Ibrahim Ali Khan added, “You ugly piece of trash, since you can’t keep your words to yourself don’t bother, they’re irrelevant just like you. Ugly goddamn piece of shit I feel bad for you and your family – and if I see you on the streets one day, I’ll make sure I leave you uglier than you are – you walking piece of scum.”
Talking to Filmfare magazine, Ibrahim expressed regret over his reply, saying, “I know I shouldn’t have reacted but I’m also new to public scrutiny.”
“When he made that personal comment about my body, it felt like a below-the-belt remark. But going forward, I’ll be more composed. I shouldn’t have reacted. It won’t happen again.”
“I can have a bit of a short fuse but I’m working on it. It’s not like I randomly lose it, but yeah, if I’m in a bad mood or something, then maybe,” he said.
