Renowned cricket superstar Wasim Akram, while talking to the media, stressed the importance of a healthy lifestyle and physical fitness in his daily life.
He stated, “If there is life, there is the world and the aim of health and fitness videos on social media is to provide health-related information to the new generation.”
Speaking to the media at a function held at a local hotel yesterday, he said, “I don’t care about reviews and views. I don’t eat like animals. I eat like a human being.”
Quipping about eating healthy, Akram remarked, “I have never heard of anyone dying from malnutrition. If you eat 25 naans (breads) and go to sleep, how will you wake up alive in the morning?”
Wasim Akram revealed that he uses Asafoetida in every morning and evening meal. Asafoetida is a strong-smelling, pungent spice derived from the sap or resin of various Ferula plant species, primarily found in Iran, Afghanistan, Central Asia, and parts of India.
Some people believe that the use of this spice helps improve skin texture, repairs dry and damaged hair, boosts immunity against viral infections, aids in digestion, relieves gastric issues, and eases menstrual cramp pain.
In response to questions about his role in a 2023 Pakistani political satire heist crime comedy film written and directed by Faisal Qureshi, Akram stated, “I didn’t know that I would have to memorize every line to work in a film. People think it’s easy to work in dramas and films from a distance, but it’s not like that at all.”
Wasim Akram said that during the shooting with Fawad Khan, he had wonderful conversations with all the artists.
