Now, you can get free electric scooty in Pakistan.
The Sindh government is giving out free electric scooties for women. The colour of all scooties will be pink.
The distribution process will take place through a transparent balloting process, monitored by the print and electronic media.
Excise, Transport, Finance, and Media departments will oversee the process to ensure fairness.
If you want to apply you should be a permanent resident of Sindh, either a student or a working woman, possess a valid driving license (motorbike or car), commit not to sell or sublet the scooty for at least 7 years and pass a road safety skill test if selected through the draw.
The Sindh Mass Transit Authority (SMTA) will offer free training programs as well if you get selected.
