WEBDESK: With HBL PSL X fast approaching, Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi have made key squad changes to strengthen their teams ahead of the tournament. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed the updates as teams finalize their rosters for the highly anticipated event.
Squad updates for HBL PSL X
Peshawar Zalmi has brought in South African all-rounder George Linde as a full replacement for Corbin Bosch in the Diamond category. Linde’s experience and all-round abilities are expected to bolster the team as they prepare for HBL PSL X. Reports have suggested that George Linde was also being considered by Mumbai Indians for the IPL.
Islamabad United, on the other hand, has signed Australian wicketkeeper-batter Alex Carey as a partial replacement for Rassie van der Dussen in the Supplementary category. Carey’s addition will provide Islamabad United with more depth in their batting lineup.
HBL PSL X Schedule:
The tournament is set to begin on April 11, with Islamabad United facing Lahore Qalandars in Rawalpindi. The event will feature 34 matches across four venues, with the final scheduled to take place on May 18 at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium. Cricket fans are eagerly awaiting the action as the teams compete for the championship title.
Additionally, an exhibition match is planned in Peshawar on April 8, adding further excitement to the buildup of HBL PSL X. Details regarding the teams participating in this match will be announced soon.
