Gold prices in Pakistan reach an all-time high on Tuesday reaching Rs317,350 per tola across the country after international gold prices increased.
In a significant development, local markets witnessed a sharp increase in gold prices in Pakistan as the gold price jumped up by Rs2,550 per tola on March 18.
All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) has revealed that the 10-gram gold price in Pakistan increased by Rs2,186 reaching the total price of Rs272,076.
Gold prices in Pakistan have been witnessing a steep increase for the past few days as global gold prices continue to rise.
The gold prices internationally saw an increase, reaching $3,022 per ounce (with a premium of $20), up by $25 during the day.
Meanwhile silver prices also increased by Rs25 across Pakistan, reaching its total price at Rs3,555 per tola.
Earlier this week, gold prices in Pakistan also set a new record after witnessing a incline of Rs1,100 per tola.
Analysts have suggested that investors turn to gold for safe investments amid rising uncertainties in global economy.
