Gold prices in Pakistan continue to witness rising trend, mirroring international market trends with the price of per tola hitting Rs319,000 on Wednesday.

According to All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), gold prices in Pakistan increased by Rs1,650 on Wednesday.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has increased by Rs 1,415 to Rs 273,491. While the price of gold in the global market is $3,038 per ounce, up $16.

Silver prices remained the same as before across the country.

Analysts have suggested the rising tensions in Middle East, increasing uncertainties about global trade war, and Trump’s sudden tariffs have led the investors to increasingly depend on gold as a safe investment.

KCM Trade chief market analyst Tim Waterer has stated, “The current trading environment, where there are worries about tariffs, growth and inflation, is playing to gold’s strengths as an uncertainty hedge.”

Gold prices in Pakistan reached Rs317,350 per tola on March 18 when it broke the records of highest rise.

On Tuesday, the gold price jumped up by Rs2,550 per tola while the 10-gram gold price in Pakistan increased by Rs2,186 reaching the total price of Rs272,076.

Gold prices in Pakistan have been witnessing a steep increase for the past few days as global gold prices continue to rise.
