Price of gold in Pakistan on Wednesday, dropped by Rs2400 per tola and has reached to Rs306,300.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 10 grams of gold has dropped by Rs2,058, settling at Rs262,602.
The association further stated that the price of gold in the international bullion market has declined by $24, reaching $2,916 per ounce.
On February 25, after a continuous surge, gold prices recorded a decline in both international and local markets.
According to market reports, the international bullion market saw an $8 drop per ounce, bringing the global gold price down to $2,940.
In Pakistan’s local bullion markets, the price of 24-carat gold per tola fell by Rs800, settling at Rs308,700.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold declined by Rs686, reaching Rs264,660. A day earlier, gold had hit a record high of Rs265,346 per 10 grams.
