WEBDESK: US President Donald Trump has called on Iran to make a peace deal as tensions rise in the Middle East. On Friday, Trump warned that there has already been too much death and destruction, but added that there’s still time to stop more violence.
Donald Trump warned Iran that there is still time to stop the ongoing bloodshed, but future attacks will be even more brutal if no deal is made. Trump urged Iran to act swiftly, save what remains of its legacy, and avoid further destruction. “No more death, no more destruction JUST DO IT, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE,” he declared.
In a message shared on his Truth Social account, Trump urged Iran’s leaders to act quickly. “There is still time to make this slaughter, with the next already planned attacks being even more brutal, come to an end,” he wrote.

The statement comes after Israel launched airstrikes on Iran. Israeli officials said they targeted nuclear facilities, ballistic missile factories, and top military leaders. These attacks were part of a larger operation to prevent Iran from creating a nuclear weapon.
Trump revealed that he had given Iran multiple chances to reach an agreement but claimed they failed each time. “I told them, in the strongest of words, to ‘just do it,’” Trump said. He warned that both the United States and Israel possess powerful military equipment, and that certain Iranian hardliners who resisted are now dead.
“There has already been great death and destruction, but there is still time to stop this slaughter,” Trump wrote. He called on Iran’s leaders to make a deal before it’s too late and save what was once known as the Iranian Empire.
Israel launched the strikes early Friday, June 13, 2025, as part of what it called “Operation Rising Lion.” The operation aimed to cripple Iran’s nuclear program and military infrastructure. Key targets included the Natanz uranium enrichment facility, ballistic missile production sites, and military command centers.
According to Iranian state media and eyewitnesses, loud explosions were heard in several areas, including near the heavily guarded Natanz facility. The attacks left significant damage and resulted in the deaths of several top Iranian officials. Major General Hossein Salami, the commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), was reportedly killed, along with two prominent nuclear scientists, Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi and Fereydoun Abbasi-Davani.
