Webdesk: In a significant counter-terrorism breakthrough, security forces carried out a successful operation against militants of the group known as “Fitna-al-Hindustan” in Balochistan, informed sources revealed.

The operation was launched during the night between July 19 and 20 after intelligence indicated suspicious militant movement in the region. Security forces also responded to the intelligence quickly and conducted a focused raid in the Pehrood region of Balochistan.

Sources confirmed that at least four militants linked to the so called the Fitna-al-Hindustan were neutralized in the operation. Some weapons and a flag with the signs of the group were also seized at the scene.

A clearance operation remains underway in the area to eliminate any remaining threats and secure the surroundings.

The group, which has been responsible for a series of brutal attacks on unarmed and innocent civilians in recent months, is believed to be operating with the support of foreign handlers. Sources emphasized that those responsible for aiding and abetting the terrorists will also be dealt with as examples.
