India claimed that six suspects believed to be involved in the Pahalgam attack had reached Sri Lanka on board a flight from Chennai which led to a massive search operation.

The operation took place at the Colombo airport by Sri Lanka Police, Sri Lanka Air Force, and airport security units.

According to the airline, it received an alert from the Chennai Area Control Centre. After this, the aircraft was thoroughly inspected.

However, no suspect was found.

India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA) has been tasked with the probe into the attack.

Since the Pahalgam attack, India has repeatedly made baseless and false claims regarding alleged terrorist hideouts along the LoC.

On April 22, militants attacked Indian tourists in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) Pahalgam area, causing 26 deaths.

Indian media and Modi-led government instantly blamed Pakistan without conducting any kind of investigation and failing to apprehend a single militant involved.

Recently, Indian RAW-backed media channel, Republic TV, shared fake news against Pakistan, claiming that the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) has overtaken the Kalat area in Balochistan.

Republic TV, while sharing its fake news, hides the governance and security failures of the Modi-led government in India, and calls the BLA terrorists “freedom fighters.”
