Fitna al Hindustan terrorists targeted a security forces vehicle with an IED in Mastung on the night of August 5–6, 2025, martyring three soldiers, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
The attack struck during a routine movement in the district.
Major Muhammad Rizwan Tahir, 31, from Narowal; Naik Ibni Amin, 37, from Swabi; and Lance Naik Muhammad Younas, 33, from Karak embraced shahadat.
ISPR said Maj Rizwan had led multiple counter terrorism operations and always fought from the front.
Fitna al Hindustan: sanitisation in Mastung kills four terrorists, pursuit underway
Security forces launched a swift sanitisation of the area.
Four Fitna al Hindustan militants were traced and “sent to hell,” ISPR reported.
Troops remain on ground to clear hideouts and prevent follow on attacks.
The operation will continue until every accomplice is found.
ISPR said the attack reflects Indian sponsored terrorism, but such sacrifices only harden national resolve to wipe out the threat.
Funeral and honours for the martyrs will be held with full military rites.
Authorities urged citizens to report suspicious activity and support ongoing operations to secure Balochistan’s highways and settlements.
Pakistan’s forces vowed that the blood of the fallen will not go in vain, and that the network behind the Mastung blast will be dismantled, piece by piece.
