After the war and subsequent ceasefire between Iran and Israel, Iran’s state airline resumed operations with the first flight from Mashhad landing in Karachi.

The Iran Air flight IR-816 was operated using an Airbus A319 aircraft.

The plane landed in Karachi at 1:13am, while the return flight, IR-813, is scheduled to depart for the capital Tehran.

According to aviation sources, Iran’s flight operations have not returned to normal since Israel’s attack on Iran on June 13th and the brief conflict that followed.

This is the first flight to arrive in Karachi from Mashhad after a 16-day suspension.

In another news, Israel began its attacks on Iran on June 13th, with initial strikes killing senior Iranian military officers, members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and top nuclear scientists.

Later, the United States also launched airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities in Fordow, Isfahan, and Natanz.

In retaliation, Iran launched intense missile attacks on Israel, targeting key installations. The country also attacked US base in Qatar after that ceasefire was announced by President Donald Trump.
