Field Marshal Asim Munir meets officers of 52nd Common Training Program

WEBDESK: Field Marshal Asim Munir held an interactive session with a group of officers from the Civil Service Academy, according to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

He made these remarks while addressing probationary officers from the 52nd Common Training Programme (CTP) of the Civil Services Academy during an interactive session held at the Army Auditorium on Thursday.

Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, has called on Pakistan’s future civil servants to uphold the highest ideals of integrity, professionalism, and patriotism in serving the nation.

The meeting was part of a broader national initiative aimed at enhancing collaboration and mutual understanding between Pakistan’s civil and military institutions.

As part of their training, the officers had been attached to various Pakistan Army units deployed in both peacetime and operational settings across Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan.

The ISPR stated that the visiting officers were given a chance to closely observe and learn from the operational and developmental activities of the three armed forces.

Field Marshal Asim Munir says that the Pakistan Army is not only the protector of national security but also the guarantor of regional stability.

In his address, Field Marshal Munir spoke on a range of issues, including internal and external security challenges, the strategic role of the armed forces, and Pakistan’s efforts to ensure regional peace and stability.

He stressed the critical importance of unity among national institutions, mutual respect, and shared purpose in achieving the country’s long-term development and security goals.

Pakistan’s armed forces are a symbol of peace, unity and dignity on every front.

In the context of changing circumstances in the world, the role of the Pakistan Army has expanded beyond defense to promoting peace in the region and uprooting the enemy’s ambitions.

The nation is proud of its forces, which stand as a leaden wall in every test.

Field Marshal Asim Munir has said that the Pakistan Army is the guarantor of regional peace and stability. Young officers should make patriotism and service their motto.

Mutual respect and harmony are indispensable.

The meeting concluded with an interactive Q&A session, providing the officers an opportunity to seek insights from the Army Chief on national security, civil-military cooperation, and governance.

Participants expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to engage directly with the military leadership and gain insight into the Army’s strategic outlook, operational capacity, and contributions to national resilience and development.
