A court in Rawalpindi has released the man who entered the field during the match to meet New Zealand’s Rachin Ravindra.
The man name is Abdul Qayyum and he is a resident of Attock.
He also held a photograph of Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) chief Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi when he ran towards Rachin Ravindra.
Afte the incident he was arrrested by the police.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said that “the board has taken serious note of the security breach that occurred yesterday when a spectator entered the field of play. Ensuring the safety of players and officials remains our top priority.”
The judge granted relief and, after receiving a Rs50,000 surety bond, granted Qayyum’s release on bail. The accused will be sent to jail on judicial remand if he fails to provide the bail bond.
