Some Muslim countries including Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates (UAE) will celebrate EId-ul-Fitr today (Sunday). Ahead of Eid prayer, arrangements are being made to accommodate the people.
The countries who have Eid today, observed 29 days of Ramadan.
Since many Muslims around the world perform Umrah during the holy month of Ramadan, they often spend Eid in Saudi Arabia. As a result, authorities must make extensive arrangements every year to accommodate the large crowds.
In this regard, 15,948 mosques and 3,939 open-air prayer grounds across all regions of the Kingdom have been prepared to receive worshipers Eid namaz in the morning, according to Gulf News.
Eid prayer timings
The Eid prayer timings in Saudi Arabia are as follows: Riyadh at 5:36am, Makkah at 6:08am, Madina at 6:05am, and Jeddah at 6:10am (local time).
The Eid prayer timings in the major cities of UAE are as follows: Abu Dhabi at 6:32am, Dubai at 6:28am, Sharjah at 6:28am (local time).
Other than this, the Eid namaz timings in other countries are:
