DUBAI: A rain alert has been issued in Dubai ahead of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Champions Trophy 2025, which Pakistan will host. Some matches are scheduled to take place in Dubai.

The advisory states that citizens should stay informed about the weather forecasts and should stay indoors “if possible.” It also advises citizens not to drive through flooded roads and to practice good hygiene.

India vs Bangladesh in Dubai rain prediction

Dubai will host the second match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 between India and Bangladesh on February 20, Wednesday, at the Dubai International Stadium.

The rain alert has raised concerns about the disruption of the match.

According to AccuWeather, rain is expected during the India vs Bangladesh match at the Dubai International Stadium.

“Sunny periods with a shower in places in the afternoon,” read the Wednesday weather forecast for Dubai.

As per the weather report, there is an 11 per cent probability of a thunderstorm, with 44% of the sky covered by clouds and a 55 per cent probability of rain.

What will happen if it will rain during India vs Bangaldesh Champions trophy match?

If Dubai, especially the area where Dubai Stadium is located, receives limited rain, the overs of the match will be reduced. The limited rain will only cause a certain disruption in the match. However, if it rains throughout the day and the match does not get a result, both India and Bangladesh will get one point each.
