WEBDESK: Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), visited the King Abdullah Campus of the University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (UAJK), where he received a warm and enthusiastic welcome.
Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Nasir Jamal Khattak, faculty members, senior officers, representatives of the armed forces, and students welcomed him with national and regional anthems. The students expressed their patriotism and excitement, creating a spirited and respectful atmosphere for the DG ISPR’s arrival.
As he visited, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif participated in an interactive session with the students. He challenged them not to fall victims of negative propaganda but rather concerned themselves about playing a positive role towards the development of the country.
He urged the vital guidance it has provided on national security, defence and stability through the assistance of the Pakistan Army. He encouraged the young people to participate actively in matters of national interest with a feeling of responsibility and commitment.
“The youth are the future of Pakistan,” he said, “and they must move forward with truth, patriotism, and awareness.”
Not only did this visit mark an official engagement but also a memorable and valuable experience that the students enjoyed. It made them more aware of their national pride, patriotism, and civic vigilance.
