Webdesk: Director General of ISPR, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, visited King Edward Medical University, where he was warmly received by the university administration, faculty, and students.
During his visit, the DG ISPR addressed the youth, saying that the public, especially young people, played a key role in Operation Fatah Mubeen.
He added that despite the challenges Pakistan faces, the patriotism and sacrifices of the younger generation have helped stabilise the country.
He also spoke in detail about the strategy and successes of Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos, calling it a major achievement for national security, which broke the back of terrorists and restored the writ of the state.
Commenting on ongoing terrorism in Balochistan, he said that a handful of terrorists cannot stop the progress of Balochistan or Pakistan.
The DG ISPR stated that the Pakistan Army is alert and active on all fronts and remains determined to defeat the enemy’s malicious plans.
Reaffirming Pakistan’s stance on Kashmir, he said, “Kashmir was, is, and will remain Pakistan’s jugular vein.” He urged the international community to help the Kashmiri people get their right to self-determination.
At the end of the visit, the university’s vice chancellor and faculty thanked the DG ISPR and appreciated his words. Students actively participated in a Q&A session and showed great interest in national issues.
