WEBDESK: Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif, held an interactive session with students of the Saylani IT Programme in Karachi, where he was warmly welcomed by the young participants.

During the discussion, students asked the DG ISPR a wide range of questions, including Pakistan’s internal and external security environment.

General Ahmed Sharif praised the spirit and awareness shown by the students, stating, “You have played the role of Pakistan’s vanguard in the information war.”

Referring to the military operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos, the DG ISPR said, “Our success in Bunyan-um-Marsoos is a victory for peace. Pakistan has always preferred dialogue and peace over conflict.”

He further emphasised the professionalism and discipline of the Pakistan Armed Forces, “Our forces are structured, professional, and always operate within the framework of the Constitution and under state directives.”

The DG also reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to stability in the region, “Pakistan will continue to play the role of a net regional stabilizer in the region.”

Students, inspired by the session, expressed their readiness to contribute to the country’s defence in every possible way, “We stand ready to support our armed forces on any front,” said one of the student representatives.

The students thanked the DG ISPR for taking the time to speak with them and urged that such sessions be held more often in the future to promote better understanding between youth and national institutions.
