High-Level delegation visits Pakistan Air Force Headquarters

Air Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu met delegation led by Lieutenant General Yasar Kadioglu, Chief of Intelligence, Turkish General Staff during his visit to Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Headquarters, Islamabad.

The two held a meeting on modern fighting technology and training, regional geopolitical situation, and development of current cooperative projects.

Air Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu underlined Pakistan’s dedication to increasing bilateral collaboration in the battle against terrorism, satellite projects, and image intelligence.

Both commanders underlined the importance of modernising the training approach by including modern technologies, artificial intelligence-based learning modules, and expanding training programmes for Turkish cadets in the Pakistan Air Force.

The visit comes at a time when tensions between Pakistan and India are rising every hour, with Pakistan’s minister claiming India might strike the nation within the next 24 to 48 hours.

Turkish President Erdogan has urged Pakistan and India to peacefully resolve tensions. On Monday, he said, “Turkey wants a de-escalation between Pakistan and India.”

Pakistan Air Force deploys advanced fighter

After India’s accusations and threats following the Pahalgam false flag incident, PAF has deployed modern fighter jets armed with PL-15 missiles to Swat and Skardu to respond strongly to any potential Indian misadventure.

The Pakistan Armed Forces remain firmly committed to defending the nation’s sovereignty and territorial integrity while maintaining high standards of professionalism and operational readiness.

Recent inductions of advanced platforms like the J-10C and JF-17 Block-III jets, alongside the PL-15 long-range missiles, have significantly boosted PAF’s combat strength and strategic deterrence.
