WEBDESK: Famous Pakistani actor Danish Taimoor stands firm on his ‘filhal 4 Shadyan” statement he gave Infront of Ayeza Khan and has defended his recent statement on polygamy, despite facing strong criticism on social media.
During a Ramadan TV show, Danish Taimoor said “I say this in front of her [Ayeza Khan] and I’ll say it in front of everyone. I am allowed to marry four women; I’m not doing it but that’s my right.”
He further added, “Allah Has given me this permission and nobody can take this away from me. But it is my love and respect for her [Ayeza Khan] that I am spending my life with her only, for now.”
On this statement Danish Taimoor got a lot of criticism.

Hamza Ali Abbasi old interview is going viral, in which he shared his thoughts about four marriages, after a comment made by Danish Taimoor in a live Ramadan transmission on the same topic.
Responding to the backlash, he explained that he used the word “filhal” because life is uncertain.
He emphasized that he was simply sharing religious teachings and did not mean to offend anyone. He also criticized social media users for focusing only on his controversial statement instead of the positive messages from the show.
Despite his explanation, many people believe his remarks reflect male insecurity, especially since Ayeza Khan is considered more successful. His statement has led to discussions about gender roles, respect in marriages, and how men assert their authority using religion.

While Danish Taimoor insists his words were misunderstood, the controversy has kept him in the spotlight.
