WEBDESK: On behalf of the President, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza conferred civil awards on renowned scientists and engineers working under the National Command Authority (NCA).
The awards were conferred on behalf of the President of Pakistan by Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza.
The distinguished people are renowed scientists and engineers that were involved in the development of the defence of the country.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the recipients were acknowledged for their exceptional services and commitment in the fields of science and national security.
Out of the 47 officers awarded:
- 10 officers received the Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Star of Excellence),
- 21 officers were awarded the Presidential Pride of Performance,
- and 16 officers were honoured with the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Medal of Excellence).
The ceremony underscored the nation’s appreciation for the dedicated efforts of those working behind the scenes to strengthen Pakistan’s strategic programs.
