The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) has called for protest rallies across Balochistan in response to the arrest of its leadership. Locations listed in the 306 Area of Responsibility (AOR) include Zehri, Hub, Winder, Turbat, Pasni, Khuzdar, Surab, Naal, Panjgur, and Gwadar.
So far, the only rally in Zehri, District Khuzdar, has seen a modest turnout of just 80 to 100 protesters, marching from Hospital Chowk to Allah Wala Chowk. Despite the BYC’s calls for widespread protests, no significant turnout has been seen in other areas, with no rallies reported elsewhere as of now.
Despite the protest call, life across Balochistan remains unaffected. Main roads and markets continue to operate normally, and there have been no disruptions to daily activities in the region.
