Burnol shortage For Indian social Media Users? Pakistan clinches Important UNSC Post

Indian social Media Users

Indian social media users fume, froth, and cry as Pakistan bags the coveted posts of co-Vice Chair of the United Nations Security Council Counter-Terrorism Committee and the Chair of the Taliban Sanctions Committee.

As India continues to receive one diplomatic and military setback after another, Indian social media users lash out at everyone.

This time, Indian social media users are calling for the boycott of the United Nations (UN) after Pakistan stood victorious for its remarkable diplomacy.

The majority of Indian social media users were surprised when the announcement came that Pakistan had been appointed as the UNSC Vice Chair on the counterterrorism committee, along with France and Russia, and the sole Chair of the Taliban sanctions committee.

After Pakistan humbled the Indian Air Force by downing 6 of its jets, including Rafale – confirmed by multiple independent sources – Indian government set out to “diplomatically isolate” Pakistan.

India accepted the ceasefire with Pakistan brokered by United States President Donald Trump on May 10 after Pakistan launched a retaliatory operation named “Bunyanum Marsoos.”

For almost an entire month, the Indian government and Indian media concocted wild claims and stories while refuting the news of Indian downed jets.

However, after the world got irrefutable evidence of multiple IAF downed aircraft, the Indian military acknowledged its losses without confirming the number of jets downed.

India made a futile and embarrassing attempt to block the International Monetary Fund (IMF) loan tranche to Pakistan and the World Bank’s investment.

Reactions of Indian social media users

Indian social media users who participated in spreading mass disinformation campaigns during Indo-Pak hostilities are now fuming at the continuous streak of wins by Pakistan.

One Indian social media user wrote, “Pakistan gets the post of Vice Chairman of an AntiTerrorism Committee at UNSC. But already know the UN and UNSC are a joke.”

Another user wrote, “What a joke UNSC has become after World Bank !!!”

One right-wing India social media account posted: “Pakistan has been appointed as the Vice President of the UNSC‘s Anti-Terror Group….India should leave the UN and declare it a pro terror organisation…”
