Pakistan cricketer, Azam Khan’s picture went viral, and his fans claimed that he lost all of his weight.
The picture quickly grabbed the attention and went super viral with lots of questions.
Later, Azam Khan put all the chatter to bed on his Instagram story.
He posted the picture, saying, “Work in progress, but this is from 2020”.
About the criticism, Azam Khan once said, “It is not about being overweight. It is about performance. If a guy is scoring 400 runs and he is super-fit and another guy is scoring 800 runs and he is not super-fit, I will keep the guy who scored 800 runs in my team. That is my point of view.”
His fitness trainer also defended him, saying it is unfair to criticise him for his body size.
“You like Azam’s sixes, his strike rate, and his potential to take over the game within no time. All of that comes from his size and strength,” Shehzar said about Azam Khan.
“Do not judge him on two bad performances. He has the best strike rate against top spinners. You need to give him space to succeed. Azam is mature and can win you matches,” he added.
