WEBDESK: According to Azaad Fact Check, the claim circulating on social media from this Indian account, alleging that the Islamic Republic of Iran had received J-10C fighter jets from China, is a false claim.

Azaad Fact Check has once again uncovered a false claim spread by an India-based X account.

Independent research and confirmation, however, showed that China has not supplied Iran with any such arms. The assertion was entirely based on conjecture and false information.

It seems that the misleading information was disseminated on purpose in an effort to confuse people regarding the balance of regional defence.

Azaad Fact Check thoroughly examined multiple credible international defence reports, satellite imagery, and official statements from both countries.

No evidence or confirmation could be found regarding the delivery of J-10C jets to Iran. Neither China’s Ministry of Defence nor any Iranian military body has made any announcement or signed any agreement on this matter.

It is notable that the fourth-generation multirole fighter jet J-10C of China is equipped with the most advanced radar and missile systems.

It is considered an essential element of the Chinese defence capability. The Chinese government is cautious and calculative when it comes to exports of arms.

If such a high-level defence transfer had taken place, it would have been a major international development and officially acknowledged.

Experts say this incident is a clear example of how fake news is used on social media to mislead public opinion.

Defence analysts believe that such rumours can unnecessarily escalate tensions in the region, which is why prompt fact-checking and rebuttals are essential.

In light of the growing trend of fake news on social media, experts have urged the public not to believe such claims without verification and to rely only on credible, verified sources.

Azaad Fact Check presented this case as a clear example of how misinformation is often wrapped in the appearance of truth. The public must remain alert and guard themselves against such false narratives.
