Webdesk: Azaad Fact Check has uncovered a false disinformation campaign that originated from an India-linked X (formerly Twitter) account, targeting Pakistan’s electronic warfare (EW) capabilities.
A senior Indian official had accused Pakistan of making “false claims” regarding its electronic warfare strength, suggesting that Pakistan lags behind India in this domain.
He argued that such claims are difficult to verify due to the lack of physical evidence, making it easier to fabricate stories without proof.

Exposing misinformation
Azaad Fact Check’s investigation revealed that the misleading statements being circulated from the Indian-linked account were part of a deliberate attempt to discredit Pakistan’s reputation.
The campaign aimed to mislead the international community and downplay Pakistan’s advancements in electronic warfare.
These false claims were part of a coordinated disinformation effort to tarnish Pakistan’s military achievements.
Pakistan’s success in electronic warfare
Between May 6 and May 10, 2025, Pakistan reportedly achieved a decisive success in a key phase of warfare through advanced electronic warfare operations.
Evidence from multiple sources, including global defence analysts, media reports, and military experts, confirmed that the Indian Air Force suffered substantial setbacks due to Pakistan’s EW operations.
These operations significantly disrupted Indian military systems and weakened their combat capabilities.
This achievement not only impaired the Indian military’s performance during the conflict but also stood out as a major milestone in Pakistan’s wartime success.
Global recognition of Pakistan’s EW capabilities
The success was acknowledged internationally by analysts who described it as a turning point in modern warfare, highlighting Pakistan’s growing strength in electronic warfare.
India’s claim that Pakistan is lagging behind in this field is contradicted by credible evidence and expert opinion within the global defence community.
The disinformation campaign from the India-linked X account was clearly an effort to undermine Pakistan’s progress and manipulate global perception through fabricated narratives.
In reality, Pakistan’s EW capabilities have been recognised and documented at the international level, supported by expert analysis and factual data.
Despite India’s efforts to spread misleading information, Pakistan’s achievements in electronic warfare, particularly during the May 2025 conflict, have been verified and praised by global analysts and defence professionals.
This misinformation campaign underscores the need to rely on verified sources and evidence-based analysis to uncover the truth.
