WEBDESK: Azaad Fact Check has confirmed that Pakistan does not host any American military bases or facilities any suggestion to the contrary is a complete fabrication. Likewise, neither Pakistan’s military command nor Iran’s defence ministry reported any missile activity against Pakistan, and independent observers detected no unusual launches on the date in question. Both of these rumours have been thoroughly debunked.

False Assertions

A recent post on an Indian X account claimed that Iran had launched missiles into Pakistan, mainly targeting US bases.

The original post asserted two main points without evidence: first, that Iran fired missiles at Pakistani territory; second, that these missiles struck United States military installations in Pakistan. No official statements, satellite images or independent reports were cited to back these allegations

Key Findings: No US Bases, No Missile Launches

Azaad Fact Check investigated both claims and found them entirely baseless:

Pakistan does not host any American military bases or US bases or facilities. Any suggestion of US installations on Pakistani soil is a complete fabrication.

Neither Pakistan’s military command nor Iran’s defence ministry reported any missile activity against Pakistan. Independent observers detected no unusual launches on the supposed date of the incident.

By circulating these false narratives, the Indian account sought to undermine Pakistan’s credibility and sow discord between Islamabad and its neighbours. Such misinformation diverts attention from real security challenges and damages trust in legitimate journalism.

Azaad Fact Check urges all social media users to verify sensational claims with reliable, independent sources before sharing. In an era of instant communication, it is more important than ever to distinguish fact from fiction and to halt the spread of harmful rumours

On the other hand United States (US) President Donald Trump has announced a complete and total ceasefire after Iran struck a US base in Qatar.

In a social media post, he said, “It has been fully agreed by and between Israel and Iran that there will be a Complete and Total CEASEFIRE (in approximately 6 hours from now, when Israel and Iran have wound down and completed their in progress, final missions!), for 12 hours, at which point the War will be considered, ENDED!”
