Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, in an interview with CNN’s Becky Anderson, said that he had confirmed reports that India will attack Pakistan. Anderson showed an earlier conversation with Tarar in which she asked him about any possibility of an attack by India before midnight. He responded, “YES, based on the information we have, there is a possibility — and Pakistan is always well prepared, and the armed forces are ready for self-defence.”
He added that the Pakistan Army is a brave force that knows how to defend the beloved homeland. The people of Pakistan are determined and united for their country. Pakistan is a peace-loving nation and has always desired peaceful coexistence.
He stated that Pakistan has the right to defend itself, and we have offered a fair and transparent investigation into the Pahalgam incident. However, India continued to point fingers. In the past as well, they have blamed Pakistan for such incidents without any investigation.
