Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, on Wednesday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan is not deprived of any jail amenity at Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi, where the former Prime Minister is imprisoned.

Speaking on Geo News’ programme Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Kay Sath, Atta Tarar said that the government doesn’t have the time to think about how to end PTI.

He further said that in his view, the PTI founder is vacationing in jail.

“He is having four meetings a week, no leader has had such frequent meetings.”

Attaullah Tarar further stated that the PTI founder has not been deprived of any rights in jail. We must understand that the PTI founder is in jail due to a corruption case, not for vacation.

He mentioned that he doesn’t understand which group within PTI is stopping whose meetings, as multiple groups within PTI are fighting among themselves. There is a group of Aleema Khan and another of Bushra Bibi within the party.

The Federal Minister for Information also said, “I don’t think any of PTI’s policies were correct. The PTI members themselves are unclear about which issues they want to discuss.”
