Indian right-wing journalist, Arnab Goswami attacks Diljit Dosanjh, a globally celebrated singer and actor from his own country.
Not only did he rant about Diljit, but he also deliberately mispronounced the name of Pakistani actress Hania Aamir, who enjoys a strong fanbase in India and now she has a new movie with Diljit so Arnab has a problem
Arnab questioned why Bollywood works with Pakistani artists, as if he is ever cared to understand art. He falsely claimed that Bollywood itself is banning the film, when in reality, the government banned Hania and other Pakistani actors after the Pahalgam incident.
Throughout the video, he criticised the film in the name of nationalism and dragged in the Pahalgam attack, which India blames on Pakistan without presenting any evidence.
“Do not do this Karan Johar act on me,” he snapped, targeting Diljit. He also dragged Pakistani actor Fawad Khan into the debate, recalling how his film was delayed after the same incident.
Arnab Goswami attacks Bollywood: You campaigned for Congress, Not Modi!
He went on to attack Bollywood personalities for once campaigning for Congress but not supporting BJP now.
Since he is Modi’s mouthpiece, Arnab had to take his usual swipe at Congress even accusing Bollywood stars of being paid for campaigning.
According to him, celebrities were political during Congress rule, but suddenly turned “apolitical” under Modi, a clear jab at the lack of Bollywood support for the current government.
In the end, Arnab just admitted it — he has a problem with Bollywood.
