WEBDESK: Prime Minister PM Shehbaz Sharif has strongly rejected India’s claims linking Pakistan to the recent Pahalgam incident, stating that no evidence has been shared to support the accusations according to the PM Office Media Wing said in a press release.
Speaking during a meeting with Turkish Ambassador Dr Irfan Neziroglu in Islamabad, PM Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that India’s allegations are baseless and politically motivated. He noted that despite Pakistan’s calls for cooperation and transparency, India has failed to present any concrete proof tying Pakistan to the incident.
“We will not accept blame without evidence,” PM Shehbaz Sharif said. “Our country has made tremendous sacrifices in the fight against terrorism. These unfounded claims only serve to distract from the real issues.”
The Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s readiness for a neutral and international investigation into the Pahalgam event, stressing that transparency is key to maintaining regional peace.

According to PM Shehbaz Sharif economic growth in South Asia requires peace alongside stability because countries that create unnecessary tensions stop themselves from progressing efficiently. During the ceremony PM Shehbaz Sharif emphasized dialogue as the appropriate approach to handle differences instead of using accusations as political weapons.
At the meeting PM Shehbaz Sharif expressed gratitude to Turkey for its persistent support of Pakistan in regional and international affairs. He explained the two nations operate with brotherly relations and pursue joint objectives regarding peace and mutual collaboration.
“We appreciate Turkey’s role in promoting peace and development in the region,” he added.
The Prime Minister conveyed his statement during a period where Pakistan and India experience intensified diplomatic conflicts. His message indicated that Pakistan wants peace instead of conflict while remaining ready to negotiate through fair dialogue.
PM Shehbaz Sharif declared Pakistan will maintain its anti-terrorism stance while collaborating with worldwide partners to establish a safer stable region.
