Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Junaid Akbar Khan’s recent interview with Azaad Digital has gone viral on social media, sparking mixed reactions from users.
During the interview, the anchor questioned Junaid Akbar about overseas Pakistanis’ protests, a clip of which quickly gained traction online. Responding to the controversy, Junaid Akbar stated that he did not use any words during the conversation that he would be ashamed of.
He clarified that he was asked about the overseas Pakistanis’ protests, to which he responded that while those protests are visible, what is happening to them (PTI) is not. He further added that overseas Pakistanis have been the biggest supporters of PTI, and he will continue to acknowledge their backing on every platform.
It is worth noting that two days ago, Junaid Akbar Khan claimed that PTI remained in some form of contact with the establishment even after May 9. The PTI provincial president reiterated that the party had always maintained some level of communication with the establishment, both before and after May 9.
