An earthquake has been felt by the residents of Azad Kashmir.
According to the latest reports, the magnitude of the earthquake in Azad Kashmir 4.3, and the depth was 12 km.
The earthquake was reported in Muzaffarabad, Hattian, Chinari, Chakothi, Gujarbandi, Chakar, and Khilana. Nearby areas, including Dhirkot and surrounding regions, also experienced the tremors.
As of now, there is no immediate report of damage.
Its epicentre was located 16 kilometres northeast of Kohala.
Last week, a 4.8 magnitude earthquake hit Islamabad and several cities of Punjab and Azad Kashmir.
2005 earthquake in Azad Kashmir
On October 8 2005, a 7.6 magnitude killed more than 70,000 people in Azad Kashmir mainly because the epicentre of earthquake was just 19 kilometres (12 miles) to its northeast.
The main quake was followed by more than 978 aftershocks until October 27.
It is the deadliest earthquake in the history of Pakistan till date.
