Webdesk: The National Savings Pakistan will be holding two major prize bond draws on Friday, August 15, 2025, as part of its ongoing savings scheme.
These include the 51st draw of the Rs 100 prize bond, which will take place in Lahore, and the Rs 1500 prize bond draw, which is scheduled in Faisalabad on the same day.
As per the details shared by the National Savings spokesperson, the top prize for the Rs100 bond is worth Rs700,000.
The second prize consists of three separate prizes of Rs200,000 each, while the third prize includes 1,199 prizes of Rs1,000.
On the other hand, the Rs1500 bond offers even bigger winnings.
The first prize is Rs3 million, followed by three prizes of Rs1 million each as second prize. Additionally, there are 1,696 third prizes of Rs18,500.
Officials have clarified that in case the scheduled draw date coincides with a public holiday, the event will be moved to the next working day.
These draws are part of the government’s ongoing efforts to offer ordinary citizens a chance to win substantial cash rewards by investing in low-cost prize bonds.
Prize bonds are generally sold in authorised branches of commercial banks, National Savings Centres and SBP Banking Services Corporation.
To cash a winning bond, one must submit an application along with a valid copy of their CNIC.
Through this scheme, National Savings aims to encourage people to save while also offering them the possibility of winning generous prizes without taking financial risks.
