Webdesk: Pakistan vs West Indies: Pakistan sealed the T20 series against the West Indies with a hard-fought victory in the final match.

Pakistan sealed a 2-1 series victory over the West Indies after winning the third and final T20I by 13 runs at the Central Broward Regional Park in Lauderhill, Florida.

Batting first after winning the toss, Pakistan’s openers Saim Ayub and Sahibzada Farhan set the tone with a blazing start.

The duo powered the team to 47 without loss by the end of the power play and continued to dominate the West Indian attack.

Farhan was the first to reach his half-century, his third in T20Is, as Pakistan reached 88-0 by the 11th over.

Ayub soon followed with a fifty of his own, helping raise a 100-run opening partnership. The pair took Pakistan to 108 before the West Indies finally made a breakthrough in the 17th over.

Farhan was dismissed for a superb 74 off 53 balls, featuring three fours and five sixes.

Hassan Nawaz and Ayub kept the momentum going before Ayub fell for 66 in the penultimate over.

Late cameos from Khushdil Shah (11*) and Faheem Ashraf (10*) helped Pakistan post a competitive 189-4.

In reply, West Indies struggled to build momentum and fell short of the target, handing Pakistan a well-earned series win.

Pakistan made two changes for the final match, bringing in Khushdil Shah and Haris Rauf. West Indies fielded an unchanged XI.

The series win was crucial for Pakistan after their recent T20I loss to Bangladesh. West Indies, on the other hand, extended their poor run in the format after a 5-0 whitewash against Australia.

Overall, Pakistan now leads the T20I head-to-head with West Indies, having won 16 out of 23 matches, while West Indies have claimed just 4 wins. Three matches ended without a result.
