Webdesk: The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, HE Dr Masoud Pezeshkian, will undertake a state visit to Pakistan from August 2 to 3, 2025, at the invitation of the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
President Pezeshkian will be accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising Iran’s Foreign Minister, HE Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, along with senior ministers and top officials.
During the visit, President Pezeshkian will hold meetings with the President of Pakistan, HE Asif Ali Zardari, and engage in delegation-level talks with Prime Minister HE Shehbaz Sharif.
This will be Dr Pezeshkian’s first official visit to Pakistan as President. It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited Iran earlier this year on May 26, 2025.
The upcoming visit is expected to further deepen the historic and fraternal ties between Pakistan and Iran.
