Singer Shamoon Ismail starts a ‘new chapter’ in life

WEBDESK: Pakistani singer songwriter Shamoon Ismail has announced the start of a “new chapter” in his life. He made the announcement on Instagram over the weekend.

The Rung and Taare singer posted photos from what seemed to be a private engagement or wedding ceremony. However, he did not clearly say what the event was, leaving fans curious.

The pictures showed Ismail dressed in a cream sherwani and pyjama. He was seen greeting family members in a cosy, family-only gathering. One photo showed his partner walking towards him, but her face was not visible.

In the caption, he wrote, “Alhamdulillah I am deeply grateful for the love and support you’ve all given me over the years. This marks the beginning of a new chapter — not only in my personal life but also musically. I can’t wait to share what’s coming with you.”

Known for mixing R&B, Punjabi blues, and indie rock, Ismail has always valued privacy. He asked followers not to share more photos from the event. He added,
“As many of you know, I sincerely value my privacy and truly appreciate your understanding.”
