A high-level jirga was held after the recent tragic shooting incident that took place in the area of Tirah Valley, Khyber District.
The jirga was attended by the civil and military officials and other local elders.
During the meeting, the officials conveyed their condolences and offered their full support.
It was decided that transparent investigations will take place.
The Jirga also discussed the measures that should be implemented in the area for establishing lasting peace.
Earlier, several people were killed and many were injured after terrorists opened fire during a protest in the area.
Tirah Valley is located in Orakzai District in KP. It lies on the Afghanistan-Pakistan border between the Khyber Pass and Khanki Valley.
IG Frontier Corps North visits the hospital after the firing incident in Tirah Valley
Inspector General FC Khyber Pakhtunkhwa North, Major General Rao Imran Sartaj, visited the hospital and inquired about the condition of the people who got injured as a result of the firing.
He met the injured ones, who told him that the attack was carried out by terrorists.
The IG expressed relief over the facilities being given to the patients.
The injured ones also showed support for the army after the cowardly attack by the terrorists on the civilians.
They also thanked the Pakistan Army and FC North for providing them with free medical care.
