Khamenei warns Trump
After President of the United States Donald Trump issued threats against Iran, calling its leadership to “unconditionally surrender”, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has addressed his nation, vowing to resist “imposed war or imposed peace.”
In a televised address and a series of posts on social media platform X, the Supreme Leader of Iran, Khamenei has highlighted that Israel attacked Iran when their country was engaged in indirect nuclear talks with the US.
Khamenei revealed that Iran took no provocative military or non-military action during those talks. Furthermore, the Supreme Leader has issued a stern warning to the United States, saying, “The US entering in this matter [war] is 100% to its own detriment. The damage it will suffer will be far greater than any harm that Iran may encounter.”
“The harm the US will suffer will definitely be irreparable if they enter this conflict militarily.”
Khamenei warns Trump after international media reported that the USA may get directly involved in striking Iran in coming days.
In the address, the Khamenei stated, “The US President threatens us. With his absurd rhetoric, he demands that the Iranian people surrender to him. They should make threats against those who are afraid of being threatened. The Iranian nation isn’t frightened by such threats.”
He further added, “It isn’t wise to tell the Iranian nation to surrender. What should the Iranian nation surrender to? We will never surrender in response to the attacks of anyone. This is the logic of the Iranian nation. This is the spirit of the Iranian nation.”
Moreover, the Supreme Leader of Iran also said they were suspicious about the role of the USA; however, with recent remarks by President Trump, “this suspicion is growing stronger day by day.”
Trump’s remarks against Iran
President of United States, Donald Trump, in a series of posts on his Truth Social media account on Tuesday has claimed that they have “complete and total control over the skies of Iran.”
Trump acknowledged “Iran had good sky trackers and other defensive equipment, and plenty of it, but it doesn’t compare to American-made, conceived, and manufactured ‘stuff’.”
Trump, while glorifying the American-made defence weapons, remarked, “Nobody does it better than the good ol’ USA.”
Trump then made another post with two words, writing, “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER.”
In a third more worrying post, Trump warned that his administration was completely aware of the whereabouts of the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, whom Israel has continuously threatened to target.
Donald Trump wrote: “We know exactly where the so-called Supreme Leader is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there – We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least for now. But we don’t want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers. Our patience is wearing thin. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
In a grim post, President of the United States issued a subtle yet stark warning about the possibility of the United States targeting the Supreme Leader of Iran.
