A Hindu couple from Pakistan was murdered in Mumbai after recently relocating to India, Geo News has reported.
According to the woman’s father, his daughter Sapna and son-in-law Sanjay had moved to India for a better future. He said Mumbai police informed him that the couple’s bodies were found in their home with stab wounds.
The couple’s two sons are currently in police custody.
The victim’s father said Sanjay had a well-established dry fruit business in Mumbai, while Indian police are citing multiple possible motives for the killings.
Hindu Panchayat head Ishwarlal expressed concern that the Indian government may delay justice and requested that the bodies be brought back to Pakistan for final rites.
